Back!
Sunday 25th July 2010
So I've finally got the work pc hooked up and it still works! So SotI is back up and running. GLEE!
I went to see Inception last night, which was very, very good. I heartily recommend it.
Slowly getting used to the new house. And the new internet connection. Slowly.
Also, a bit late I know, but the trailer for the new Space Marine game is awesome. Really looks like it could be a kickass game.
Oh, and Unspeakabe Vault has done a 40k strip. Arf!
-Edit-
Also, Wetcorps on Deviant Art has drawn a brilliant picture of Krin. Check it out!. Anyone want to draw Severus, Lyle or any other SotI characters?
Please do so and send me a link!
Almost done
Monday 19th July 2010
Well, we're all moved in, but there are still some boxes to unpack and some bags of clothes waiting for the new wardrobes to arrive. I hate moving house.
Something cheered my up though; ceressiass on DeviantArt has drawn some awesome fanart of everyone's favourite synthskin-clad assassin. Go check it out!
I will hopefully get the next strip up sometime soon, but currently my work PC is still in its component parts on the floor, seeing as the new house is a bit... smaller... than the old one.
More new soon.
Sunburn and cardboard boxes
Sunday 11th July 2010
Still packing, but we took some time out to have a BBQ at my parents, which was nice.
Rhi and I both forgot our suncream, however, and are now starting to go a lovely red/pink colour.
Stupid sun!
No strip now for possibly 2 weeks, until we get settled in the new house, reconnected to the internet and so on.
I'll keep you posted.
Erf, packing
Sunday 4th July 2010
No strip today I'm afraid; I need to work on a few things including renovating my portfolio, packing for the move to the new house and a project I'm working on that I'll hopefully be talking about in a few weeks.
I will hopefully post a strip next week, then there will be a short break as we're moving to a new house, with all the fun and games that involves. I'll keep you all updated though.
Tossing Krin a Bone... eww
Sunday 27th June 2010
Every now and then I have to toss Krin (and his fanbase, apparently) a bone by letting him get a hug from Brianna. Not that any kind of display of affection from her lasts long.
So more and more details about the new Warhammer 40,000 MMO game Dark Millennium Online are coming to light, and I'm still not sure where I stand on this game.
So it sounds like there are two sides; 'Order' (in the Imperium? PAH!) and 'Destruction', and the four playable races are divided between them.
So we have Eldar and Spess Muhrines on one side, and Orks and Chaos on the other. Fine. Not original but I can work with that.
Apparently the Tyranids also make an appearance, as an NPC faction of badguys. Yeah, that works as well. No way (as much as I like them) that you could have a player-controlable 'Nid character.
Still, it just doesn't feel right to me.
I'd have prefered a Dark Heresy-inspired MMO set in an Imperial Hive or something...
Ah well, I'll probably play it anyway!
