Hmm

There may or may not be a strip this week, what with my new job and a new effort to attend the gym plus some other stuff I'm feeling a bit overworked.

I might post a strip during the week if you're lucky!

Short and sweet

Not much to talk about this week; I'm starting a new job on Monday so much of my time this week has been spent preparing for that and also making arrangements for my wedding this October. Oh, and going for inductions at the gym I've signed up to and starting a new diet.

Man being an adult sucks some times!

Where's Twink?

In case you're wondering where Twink is in this week's strip he's checking the perimeter. I meant to put an aside in about that and kind forgot/ ran out of room.

In other news, after digging out my Chaos Space Marine army and looking through the latest Chaos Codex I've realised that my Beastman skirmishers unit now have no rules for them.
Until now I've used the rules for mutants from the Eye of Terror codex, but that's now looking a bit out of date.
Those rules never really sat well with me for the Beastmen, as they were nothing more than a glorified bullet-screen for my assault marines, and really I'd like them to at least have a fighting chance against enemy troops.
Maybe I should use them as assault marines themselves, but discount the armour save? Hmm.

At least I've finally painted my predator... I hate painting tanks! All those flat surfaces are a bitch for drybrushing!

I'm planning on adding up all my points soon, and photographing the army as well.

More soon.

Game hunting

I've decided I need to get back into playing 40k games. It's been too long since I last broke out my Chaos Space Marines, and the Tyranid swarm I had planned to collect never happened.

What with finishing the Dark Heresy campaign I've been running these last few months, and no tabletop games played recently, I'm in a bit of a 40k-drought; one that needs remedying with either a new 40k computer game (come ooooooon Space Marine!) or some more regular 40k games.

I guess I could start heading to my local GW store and playing a few games there, but I seldom have the time and inclination to do so. So I might try and rouse my friends with armies to engage me in a few battles.
There is a decent mix of armies amongst my friends; some Space Marines, a Necron horde (under the leadership of my fiancee), some Imperial Guard (erf, tanks!) and even a few Ork armies. No Tau though. Shame.

I will also get around to adding a forum to this website soon! I promise!
