Tossing Krin a Bone... eww

Every now and then I have to toss Krin (and his fanbase, apparently) a bone by letting him get a hug from Brianna. Not that any kind of display of affection from her lasts long.

So more and more details about the new Warhammer 40,000 MMO game Dark Millennium Online are coming to light, and I'm still not sure where I stand on this game.
So it sounds like there are two sides; 'Order' (in the Imperium? PAH!) and 'Destruction', and the four playable races are divided between them.
So we have Eldar and Spess Muhrines on one side, and Orks and Chaos on the other. Fine. Not original but I can work with that.
Apparently the Tyranids also make an appearance, as an NPC faction of badguys. Yeah, that works as well. No way (as much as I like them) that you could have a player-controlable 'Nid character.

Still, it just doesn't feel right to me.
I'd have prefered a Dark Heresy-inspired MMO set in an Imperial Hive or something...

Ah well, I'll probably play it anyway!

It was really fun drawing Twink and Bri smack the crap out of each other!

People really seem to like the Dork Millennium strip I posted; if you have any other ideas for future spins on the MMO future of 40K, send them in and I might turn out a few more!

Ever since I saw the E3 Dark Millennium Online trailer I've been thinking about MMOs, the kind of players they can attract and what would happen if those players were unleashed upon the Imperium of Mankind.

I drew a strip based on those thoughts, it was fun to draw.

It was also nice to be able to finally use the Space Marines I drew a while ago in a strip. I decided to turn them into Black Templars for the strip, but that's not what they originally were.

The will hopefully turn up in SotI at some point...

So the trailer for the 40k MMO is out... Hmm.
Looks like World of Warcraft and Dawn of War had a baby.

Not sure if I'll buy it, but interesting to see nonetheless.

This however, is definately something I'll pick up! Damn that is one epic trailer.

Hell I keep watching new trailers and each one seems to top the last one. The Deus Ex 3 trailer. Is. Fucking. Amazing.

I'm having a lot of fun writing the comic at the moment; I've had the next few strips planned for a while and finally drawing them out is great!

I went down to Winchester this morning to watch my wife, Rhiannon, run in the Race for Life; a 6km run for the charity Cancer Research UK.
Rhi managed the run in 36 minutes! Pretty good, especially since this is her first run of this kind!
